We are looking for a Clinical Science Liaison Specialist for an immediate start to reinforce our Medical department and this role will report directly to the Medical Science Liaison Manager. This is a permanent full-time position.
As a Clinical Science Liaison Specialist, you will support the daily business by delivering clinical expertise and education about the optimal use of the Flen Health product portfolio. You will initiate programs in the field to further develop our therapies and explore new indications.

Your responsibilities:
PRODUCT EXPERTISE
- Act as product and wound care expert for the territory for which you are responsible, i.e. London, South East, South West, Wales and parts of Midlands
- Through the growth and development of strong KOL relationships, liaise with HCPs to position Flen Health as partner of choice
- With the support of our Sales teams:
- Collect case reports / case series and actively use those data to demonstrate real-world practice-based evidence and maintain database
- Participate in the initiation and completion of clinical evaluations, supporting local data collection where appropriate
- Initiate/monitor local outcomes data collection where needed to demonstrate product efficacy
- Provide clinical analyses of data collected, supporting the Sales teams with post-analysis customer-faced discussions
- With support of your manager and the Sales team, plan and execute quality improvement initiatives incorporating Flen health products
- Provide clinical guidance to both customers and the Sales team on pathways incorporating Flen Health products
- Attend relevant local symposia/conferences to keep knowledge updated on wound care trends and developments
- Support the handling of clinical/medical questions arising from the sales team, healthcare professionals and patients in collaboration with PMS (Regulatory Affairs department)
- Guarantee scientific and clinical accuracy of educational and promotional materials
EDUCATION
- Create and maintain educational materials and tools for customers and for internal use
- Deliver product training to new employees
- Keep Sales teams updated on new articles/publications relevant to wound care
- Support educational activities in the field by giving product presentations to groups of healthcare professionals
THERAPY DEVELOPMENT
- Explore new therapeutic areas for our products in cooperation with Marketing and R&D
- Support the preparation of Advisory Panel meetings to review product campaigns/ new indications and new product development together with Marketing
- Support medical/clinical projects
Your qualifications & experience:
- You are a registered nurse with professional clinical qualification
- You have a current active professional registration e.g. NMC
- You have at least 3 years of proven clinical experience within an NHS wound care environment
- You are able to adapt your communication (oral/written) to meet the needs of different audiences, for example business-focused versus technical audiences
- You demonstrate strong presentation skills
- You possess critical data analysis skills and you are comfortable with digital evidence gathering platforms
- You can demonstrate high level of emotional intelligence to work effectively with stakeholders
- You hold a valid UK driving license
- Your mother tongue is English
